HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
OF PROBLEMS

Complex interface for scheduling rides

Users may find the interface for scheduling rides confusing or overwhelming. This could be due to an excess of options, unclear icons, or a lack of intuitive design.

Difficulty in canceling rides

Participants might experience challenges when trying to cancel a ride. Common issues could include not finding the cancel option easily, being unsure of the cancellation policy, or experiencing delays in the app's response time after initiating a cancellation.

OBJECTIVES

  • This UX research plan aims to investigate and understand users' difficulties while scheduling rides on the Uber app. The goal is to pinpoint and optimize steps and elements, ultimately reducing friction points during the user experience.

  • The goal is to gain insights into user interactions with the Uber app. We are focusing on the process of scheduling rides. The aim is to understand users' challenges throughout this journey, considering their actions, mental models, and opinions. Additionally, we seek to identify users' preferences and needs, enhancing the overall user experience by making the scheduling process as seamless as possible.

  • The primary objective of this usability testing is to eliminate unnecessary elements from the scheduling and canceling process and establish a more efficient and user-friendly experience on the Uber app.
